Catalysed by the intersection of invention, engineering and art, Arthur Ganson’s kinetic sculpture takes its form as the machine. Often humorous, they reach toward the sensual and are always an attempt to manifest the joy in the heart of their creator. Ganson will talk about his process; the harnessing of ideas, the messy and expansive business of distilling a work into its physical form, and will reflect on what he has learned while playing like a child in a world of super serious adults…
