Stad en Architectuur heeft een wandeling uitgestippeld langs stadsvernieuwingsprojecten die in directe relatie staan met de vernieuwde Dijle. Wandelend langs de rivier maak je kennis met een selectie van historische en hedendaagse gebouwen en werp je een blik op nog komende realisaties. De wandeling heeft o.a. Keizerberg, Vaartkom, Klaverveld, Penitentienenstraat, Leerlooierij, Dijleterrassen en Barbarahof op haar parcours.

À Bruxelles comme ailleurs, la référence au développement durable fait son chemin dans les politiques publiques, en particulier en matière d’urbanisme. Avec ses 450 logements, son parc et un pôle économique dédié aux entreprises « vertes », le premier projet de quartier durable, appelé « Tivoli », est à cet égard un des projets les plus ambitieux développés actuellement sur le territoire bruxellois. Son maître d’œuvre CityDev et le Gouvernement bruxellois entendent d’ailleurs faire de ce projet une référence en matière de durabilité à tous points de vue : social, environnemental et économique. Ce projet est accompagné depuis mai 2011 par un processus de participation mis en œuvre par l’ASBL Periferia…

Les réseaux de transports publics restent fortement influencés par leur héritage historique dans notre pays. Toute modification induit en effet des résistances parfois puissantes et compréhensibles, que ce soit de la part des clients finaux, des décideurs politiques ou encore des sociétés d’exploitation elles-mêmes.
Qui plus est, surtout depuis que les différents services ont été régionalisés (1989), les modalités collaboratives entre sociétés exploitantes sont de fait réduites ou difficiles, même si d’intéressantes ouvertures apparaissent progressivement, 25 ans après cette réforme institutionnelle. L’intérêt du client final multi- et trans-modes reste ainsi encore fort conditionné par des organisations soumises à des logiques trop peu intégrées…
