You can view the temporary exhibition ‘Smart Cities – Parallel Cases 2’ by yourself or take a guided tour. Visit the exhibition with a guide who will explain all about the visionary solutions created by young international designers on the theme ‘Making City’, the 5th International Architecture Biennial Rotterdam (IABR). 

The exhibition ‘Smart Cities – Parallel Cases 2’ has been put together by the collective Dutch academies for architecture and presents 23 (inter) national projects for smarter cities. Smart cities are versatile and emphasise infrastructural and IT connectivity, recycling, energy use, knowledge-sharing, food production and smart coalitions. The interdisciplinary design and research projects will be on view at the NAI from 1 April to 12 August 2012.
